The past year's best videos and DVDs
offered up a variety of fare for little eyes, hearts, and minds.
Some took their cues from the real world, and added to our
ever-evolving knowledge of what makes kids tick — and what tickles
them too. Others converted favorite storybooks into eye-popping
entertainment. And one very special release, inspired by the heroes
of September 11, offers an educational, uplifting story, starring
Sesame Street's familiar, fuzzy red friend.
